Product Security Engineer in Vancouver

Asana seeks a skilled Product Security Engineer in Vancouver to strengthen our security framework. You will collaborate on secure software design and champion a security-first mindset across products. Join our Product Security team, where your expertise in application security can thrive. You will work closely with product and infrastructure teams, ensuring security practices are integrated into the software development lifecycle. This role focuses on building secure frameworks, conducting architecture reviews, and tackling AI-specific security risks within a hybrid work model. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with product teams to integrate security into development
- Conduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling
- Develop secure-by-default frameworks for software teams
- Automate security tooling to enhance coverage
- Triage vulnerabilities from testing and programs
- 5+ years in application or product security
- Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Scala
- Knowledgeable in OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
- Familiar with SAST/DAST tools and threat modeling
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset
