As a robotics engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading and/or supporting various robotics and machine vision projects to fuel our growth. In this position, you will have the opportunity to:

• Simulation and implementation of ABB's Rapid language program on our industrial grinding robot
• Programming of geometric recognition vision application with Halcon's Hdev solution for trajectory point transmission
• Development and execution of “Hand in Eye” calibration and “TCP” tool learning routines
• Programming of robot/vision communication via SDK in C#
• Mechanical design in Solidworks of tools or templates required for robotics
• Document management for implemented solutions
• Process optimization

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you will be successful in this role:

• Training in automated production, mechanical engineering, or any other related field
• Knowledge of C# programming
• Ability to communicate in French and English, both verbally and in writing
• Strong analytical skills, resourcefulness, curiosity, meticulousness, and a love of teamwork

• Knowledge of ABB brand robots
• Knowledge of Halcon software or other image analysis and 3D vision software
• Knowledge of CAD software, Solidworks
