Client Service Technician

The Client Service Technician will be assigned to specific ledger holders and, together with the ledger holder, will manage client relationships, deadlines, and quality control. The CST will also work closely with the assigned PAA to ensure required tasks are completed.

• Manage T2 filings deadlines to ensure all filings are completed and filed on time.
• Manage T5 list to ensure complete filing of all T5s by deadline, including preparation of T5s where requested.
• Monthly tracking and follow-up with clients on yearends expected to be completed during the month.
• Review mail received by Ledger holder on regular basis and address client matters where required.
• Schedule planning meeting for files between preparer, reviewer and ledger holder.

• Previous experience in bookkeeping, ideally within a public accounting office
• Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Effective time-management and self-motivation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other standard software
• Experience with Taxprep and CaseWare is an asset
