As part of the Claims Legal team, you will oversee coverage litigation, providing legal advice and mentorship to various business units. Your leadership will ensure compliance with legal standards while enhancing the knowledge base of the team. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on Zurich’s operations and client relationships. Key Responsibilities:

Direct complex litigation strategies and oversight
Advise on coverage issues affecting claims and underwriting
Collaborate on new product launches and policies
Ensure adherence to local and regional laws
Mentor and train legal staff across the organization

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB required
Minimum 6 years in insurance coverage law
Good standing with a Canadian provincial Bar
Experience in the insurance field's claims or underwriting
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal research tools
