Senior Project Manager/Leader - Vendor Management:On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Senior Project Manager/Leader - Vendor Management for a 6-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s office in North York, Ontario.Senior Project Manager/Leader - Vendor Management - Job Description:This role involves managing a critical project concerning large-scale data migration and vendor management within the Government Services Integration Cluster. The Senior Project Manager will oversee governance, communication, and ensure project deliverables align with client business requirements, focusing on cost-effectiveness and compliance with project management methodologies.Senior Project Manager/Leader - Vendor Management - Responsibilities:

• Provides project management on large-scale, complex, high-profile, and high-risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives.
• Ensures project deliverables meet client requirements on time, scope, and budget.
• Leads organizational development, strategy development, and business planning.
• Develops and manages project schedules, deliverables, and scope.
• Coordinates and monitors project processes, developing and communicating guidelines and procedures.
• Manages large project budgets and ensures fiscal control and accountability.
• Identifies potential risk events and issues, recommending mitigation strategies.
• Establishes and participates in steering committee and stakeholder forums.
• Provides project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to senior executive levels.Senior Project Manager/Leader - Vendor Management - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong vendor management experience.
• Knowledge and experience leading, managing RFBs (Request for Bid).
• Strong communication skills for executive interactions.
• Strong documentation experience.
• Ability to promote I&IT project management best practices.
• Experience developing and managing project schedules and deliverables.
• Ability to monitor and forecast project costs.Senior Project Manager/Leader - Vendor Management – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in public sector or OPS projects.
• Experience with large-scale data migration activities.
• Familiarity with OPS project management methodologies and frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
