Dialysis Registered Nurse at GBGH

Enhance patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Dialysis Unit at Georgian Bay General Hospital. Provide individualized hemodialysis treatment to chronic kidney disease patients in a supportive environment. At GBGH, we seek a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Dialysis Unit. This role is essential for delivering comprehensive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis in our satellite unit. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist patients and families while contributing to their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to hemodialysis patients
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families about dialysis treatments
- Monitor patients' vital signs and emotional needs
- Advocate for patient needs within the care framework
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum one year of hemodialysis experience
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to GBGH's values and mission
