Position Overview

Our client’s Vancouver office is currently seeking a skilled mid to senior level Corporate Commercial Associate to join their team of highly regarded Corporate and Capital Markets experts.

Qualifications and Attributes

• The successful candidate will have 3-6 years of corporate commercial experience; including experience in public market corporate finance matters (with a particular interest in working with private issuers) from a national, regional or reputable boutique.
• Experience representing both public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, including plans of arrangement, amalgamations, and share purchase transactions.
• Proven ability to provide advice on compliance with corporate and securities regulatory requirements, including stock exchange listings, corporate governance, continuous disclosure obligations, and shareholders’ meetings.
• Excellent drafting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Must be qualified to practice law in Canada.
