Position Description

The Crane Tagline Associate supports safe and efficient loading and unloading operations by assisting crane operators and coordinating truck movements within the shop and yard. This role also provides general material, production, and housekeeping support as required.

Afternoon Shift (3:00PM-11:30PM) - Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Use tag lines to assist crane operators during the loading and unloading of units from trucks.
• Guide trucks safely in and out of the shop and yard, ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
• Take photographs of incoming materials and units during unloading for documentation and tracking.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation as directed by the Material Planner (DC1).
• Assist crane operators with general tasks when no trucks are being loaded or unloaded.
• Provide support to production areas as needed, including material movement and general assistance.
• Perform housekeeping duties such as emptying garbage bins, cleaning, and sweeping production areas.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Open to overtime on weekdays and/or weekends, when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment is an asset

Safety Requirement - Respirator Use

• This position may involve tasks requiring the use of a respirator. In accordance with occupational health and safety standards, all employees must be clean-shaven where the respirator seals to the face to ensure proper fit and protection. Compliance with this requirement is mandatory for employment in this role.
