Position Overview We require housekeepers on a casual basis that will make sure all rooms are guest ready for our properties in Revelstoke. There will be some duties that are required to be done daily and others that are only needed on a case-by-case situation. The right candidate will have great attention to detail, be self-motivated, and be able to work both independently and in a team and care about their work and the positive impact it can have on our guests. Wage: $18.00-$19.00 per hour Shifts: Casual, Permanent Key Responsibilities

• Ensure public areas are clean and well presented.
• Perform laundry tasks. These include, but are not limited to collecting, sorting, distributing, and stocking
• Ensure all lost property items left in guest rooms or public spaces are properly recorded and stored.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products and the correct handling procedures.
• Deliver and retrieves items that have been given to guests.
• Support Houseperson and deep cleaning duties when required.
• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, making beds, and polishing.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
• Notify supervisors/managers of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Check stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.

Skills and Experience

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
• Customer-oriented and friendly.
• Able to prioritize and has strong time management skills.
• Able to work quickly without compromising quality.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Regular physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, crouching, and kneeling.
