Systems Administration / Operations Support Specialist
Location: Sault Ste. Marie, ON
Rate: $35/hour
Contract Term: June 29, 2026 to July 17, 2027
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days per week in office)
Schedule: 24/7/365 rotation, Four-on/Four-off, 12-hour shifts
We are seeking a Systems Administration / Operations Support Specialist to support the daily operations and maintenance of critical technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining physical data centre infrastructure, system workflows, run books, access controls, and operational processes to ensure stability and minimize disruptions.
This is a mission critical position requiring on site availability and participation in a rotating 24/7 operational support schedule.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and maintain daily operations of data centre infrastructure and facilities
• Support system workflows, run books, and operational procedures
• Perform system and console operations activities
• Manage access control processes and support operational stability
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate when required
• Support backup, recovery, migration, and archiving activities
• Ensure operational compliance with established processes and standards
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of Service Desk Support experience
• Experience providing 24/7 operational support in a technology environment
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with enterprise automation scheduling
• Experience supporting data centre operations and infrastructure
