Lead mental health initiatives as the Clinical Lead in Mental Wellness at Tŝilhqot’in National Government, Williams Lake, BC. This role emphasizes strategic oversight and community engagement. As a full-time, permanent Clinical Lead, you'll oversee registered clinicians providing mental health services in Tŝilhqot’in communities. A minimum of ten years’ experience in direct care and a specialization in trauma therapy are essential. The position demands strong leadership and effective communication skills to promote mental wellness initiatives throughout six communities. Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the Mental Wellness Team's operational effectiveness
- Represent community mental health needs in regional meetings
- Submit annual reports on mental health initiatives
- Facilitate capacity-building training focused on mental health
- Ensure alignment with mental health policies and procedures
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Counselling
- Registered with a recognized mental health body
- Ten years of relevant direct care experience
- In-depth knowledge of First Nations cultures
- Proven ability to lead and consult effectively
