The Township of North Stormont will be accepting applications for recruitment within the North Stormont Fire Services.
We would like to welcome you to the Fire Fighter Recruitment Process. The Township of North Stormont Fire Service (NSFS) and the Human Resources Department provide you with this handbook to inform you about the process and your responsibilities as a candidate. “Thank you for your interest and best wishes on your endeavor to become a Fire Fighter”. The NSFS is a rural operation, comprised of approximately 80 volunteer fire fighters show territory covers roughly 515 sq. km. serving a population of approximately 6,700 residents. There are a total of four fire stations that service the area: Finch Station, Crysler Station, Moose Creek Station and Avonmore Station.
