You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, build practical skills, and gain a better understanding of how people, equipment, technology, and processes come together in a modern manufacturing environment. This is an on-site internship with an anticipated start date in May. Ideally, you’ll be available for a 4- to 8-month term.

• Salaries starting from $3,350 per month (based on your year in school and previous experience).
• Temporary living allowance for interns moving to the area for the role.

What You’ll Do

• Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and learn how a modern sawmill operates.
• Explore production processes and discover how teams work together to safely produce quality wood products.
• Contribute to projects focused on process improvement, operational efficiency, and production performance.
• Analyze data and observations to identify opportunities for improvement across mill operations.
• Work alongside experienced operations professionals while building leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

What You Offer

• You are working toward a degree or diploma in Wood Products Processing, Business, Operations Management, Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical), Supply Chain, or another industry-related program.
• You are committed to maintaining a safe work environment without compromise.
• You are curious, hands-on, and interested in learning how a manufacturing operation works.
• You communicate clearly and enjoy working with employees across different teams and departments.
• You are comfortable reviewing information, asking questions, and helping solve problems.
• You are comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
