We are hiring full-time Cooks to join our team at Riverbank Social on Carleton University campus. As a Cook on our team, you’ll help bring recipes to life while being able to flex your creativity! Surrounded by fresh ingredients and the best equipment, you’ll be immersed in a world that goes beyond food preparation – experimenting with different cuisines, flavors, and cooking styles. Get ready to reach new heights, ignite your passion, and pursue what matters by cooking with us!
Riverbank Social is generally open Monday-Friday/daytime hours, however some schedules may include evenings or weekends.

About the Job
- Cook food following recipes for a high-volume kitchen
- Ensure adherence to recipes to meet any dietary requirements
- Take culinary lead on the floor within the location
- Ensure consistent quality, preparation, and presentation of food
- Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times
- Assist with controlling waste and spoilage
- Assist with culinary auditing, and food safety measures
- Assist with weekly inventory
- Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
- Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures
- May perform other job duties as required
About You
- Experience in the Culinary field
- Experience with basic food preparation and various cooking methods
- Knowledge of food, sanitization, and health and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Problem solving
- Planning and organizing skills
- Enjoy working with others in a team setting

he selected candidate for this position will need to complete and successfully pass a Criminal Background Check.
