Initial term: 6 Months + Potential Extension

You'll do the following as Product Owner:

• Project Planning and Management:
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management strategies, and budget estimates.
• Manage and track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders, to deliver high-quality AI models.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure seamless execution of project tasks.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to foster a productive and positive working environment.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Gather and document requirements from stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with business needs.
• Present project findings and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.

Technical Oversight:

• Ensure that AI models are developed and implemented using best practices in machine learning and AI.
• Oversee the validation, testing, and deployment of AI models to ensure they meet performance and accuracy standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies to incorporate into project development.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating them as necessary to senior management.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and robustness of AI models.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of project deliverables to maintain high standards of quality.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, preferably in software development projects.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML model development and deployment.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, tools, and frameworks.
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contractContract length: 6 months

Pay: $65.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
