Business Development Manager

Hollyburn Eye Clinic is one of the largest and most established multi-doctor optometry practices on the North Shore. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our leadership team and help drive the next phase of our success.
This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, results-oriented professional who is passionate about improving operations, driving growth, and creating lasting impact within a thriving healthcare organization.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will work closely with ownership and management to identify opportunities, implement solutions, and support the clinic's long-term vision. This is a non-patient-facing role focused on operational excellence, business performance, marketing initiatives, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies across all areas of the clinic
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to improve profitability and performance
- Develop, refine, and maintain systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures
- Support and execute marketing initiatives to drive patient acquisition and engagement
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and organizational development initiatives
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and business growth projects
- Lead projects from concept to implementation while ensuring successful execution
- Evaluate business processes and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and patient experience

Qualifications
- Experience in business operations, management, consulting, project management, or a related role
- Background in healthcare, retail, professional services, or another customer-focused industry is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of business operations, marketing, and human resources processes
- Demonstrated success in improving systems, efficiency, and overall business performance
- Proficiency with business software, reporting tools, and performance tracking is an asset
