Window Coverings Sales

Job Responsibility:

Sonata Window Fashions and Interior Design requires an experienced and professional sales person with an interest in textiles and design products. 3-5 years experience is preferred but not necessary. The candidate should be comfortable with all major brands of window covering and fabric suppliers as well as draperies, upholstery, furniture, and wallcovering design and sales.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client files from selection to execution
• Pricing, ordering, procurement, and scheduling of products
• Drapery and upholstery orders and work order forms including tracking orders and updating all departments
• Write and distribute quotes, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Maintain supplier contact lists and supplier price lists
• Provide general support to visitors, sales team, and operations
• Strategic Outreach: Research and identify potential clients, partners, and key decision-makers within our target industries. Develop effective cold-calling strategies and tailor communication for optimal results.
• Industry Engagement: Attend relevant industry events and conferences, actively networking with potential partners, clients, and key stakeholders to build our brand presence.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their business needs, and positioning our solutions effectively.
• Lead Generation: Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments for the sales team to pursue opportunities for revenue growth.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to understand the ideal client profile and ensure a seamless transition of leads.

Requirements

• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• High School degree; additional qualification in interior design or decorating would be a major asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
