Clinical Research Associate

Senior Clinical Research Associate position at ICON overseeing clinical trial monitoring for respiratory and cardiovascular studies in the Greater Toronto Area. The role involves managing site compliance, coordinating cross-functional activities, and mentoring CRA staff while ensuring adherence to protocols and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and GCP standards
- Conduct on-site visits to assess performance, resolve operational issues, and provide support
- Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting
- Train and mentor site staff and other CRAs on clinical trial conduct standards
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with site personnel and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in scientific or healthcare-related discipline
- Extensive CRA experience with demonstrated understanding of clinical trial processes and regulations
- Ability to independently manage multiple sites and projects simultaneously
- Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and clinical trial software platforms
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to drive compliance
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time
