JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Research Analyst (RA)
An RA is a key member who:
- Participates in due diligence processes for new investment ideas
- Interprets financial statements, earnings calls, and market/industry data
- Assists in updating and creating financial models
- Proactively suggests new investment ideas at weekly meetings
- Updates company data for equities that TRUSIF owns
A successful candidate has:
- A clear idea of what they want from TRUSIF and how they can contribute
- Examples of being a strong team player who seeks out responsibility
- Interest in capital markets and wealth management careers
- The drive to go the extra mile when necessary and resilience in the face of setbacks
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A minimum of 1 full year remaining in their program (finance, accounting, economics, STEM, or related field)
Nice to have:
- More than 1 year left in your program
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Understanding of financial accounting and company valuation topics
