Electrical Engineering Principal at EVR

Take the lead as the Electrical Engineering Principal at EVR, responsible for governance and compliance across electrical operations. Collaborate with varied stakeholders to elevate safety standards. Reporting to the Director, Maintenance, this role centralizes electrical safety risk management and oversight of the Electrical Engineering Control Plan. You will drive compliance with FHP06 and lead audits, ensuring the implementation of standards across assets. Your ability to create processes and influence change will be essential in this strategic role. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage enterprise-wide electrical safety risk according to FHP06
- Lead and maintain the Electrical Engineering Control Plan
- Develop compliance frameworks aligned with corporate standards
- Serve as the liaison with Glencore for electrical matters
- Perform audits and drive compliance solutions
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Trade Certification
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience
- Ability to register as Professional Engineer with EGBC
- Proven success in compliance program implementation
- Familiarity with CSA standards and mining regulations
