Under the direction of the Supervisor of Maintenance, the Electrician:
- Installs, maintains, upgrades and repairs electrical and fire alarm systems throughout the Board;
- Performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor;
- Some overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge And Skills
- Secondary School graduation diploma;
- Five (5) year Electrical Construction and Maintenance License 309A, (includes the equivalent of one year of Community College);
- Fire alarm system certified ( Certi-Fire or CFAA) ;
- Two (2) years of related commercial experience;
- Ability to work independently;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Valid drivers licence;
- Satisfactory Police Record Check will be a condition of employment.
This is a permanent, full-time position with an annual salary of $91,558.44 . A comprehensive employee benefits package is also provided.
The start date is approximately September 1, 2026.
