Under the direction of the Supervisor of Maintenance, the Electrician:

• Installs, maintains, upgrades and repairs electrical and fire alarm systems throughout the Board;
• Performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor;
• Some overtime may be required.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge And Skills

• Secondary School graduation diploma;
• Five (5) year Electrical Construction and Maintenance License 309A, (includes the equivalent of one year of Community College);
• Fire alarm system certified ( Certi-Fire or CFAA) ;
• Two (2) years of related commercial experience;
• Ability to work independently;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Valid drivers licence;
• Satisfactory Police Record Check will be a condition of employment.

This is a permanent, full-time position with an annual salary of $91,558.44 . A comprehensive employee benefits package is also provided.

The start date is approximately September 1, 2026.
