SkiBig3 is currently recruiting for the seasonal position of Outside Sales Agent to join our team for the 24/25 winter season - August start.
Local Hotel sales - Lift Tickets / Season Passes
- Local Business Season Pass business development
- SkiBig3 Pass Perks program development and implementation
- Pre-arrival group support
- In-Resort Group support - assisting with group logistics and fulfillment
- Resort Communications - working with the 3 resorts to ensure they are aware of all groups coming in as well as any requirements - itineraries, transport, lunches, races, etc.
- FAM communications and event support
- MCIT selling and onsite assistance
- Travel Support - assisting with travel organizations for club/council trade events/consumer events with potential for travel.
- Collateral distribution to confirmed groups and travel shows
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous administrative experience required, displaying the highest level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in a resort-based reservations/ inbound call center environment an asset
- Previous Sales experience - Travel/ Tourism industry highly regarded
- Exceptional communication skills and phone manner
- Superior organizational and time management skills with ability to independently manage own time
- Demonstrated computer skills - strong knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), knowledge of reservations systems, is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience - Friendly, outgoing, excellent guest service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proven ability to learn and adapt quickly to changing work environments
Other Requirements:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Must reside in the Bow Valley
- Driver's License
- Ability to travel
