Job Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Evaluate project requirements, materials, and labour to determine costs and timelines.
- Assist in preparing bid proposals and tender submissions to secure new projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and project plans to understand scope and deliverables.
- Monitor and update cost estimates as project requirements evolve.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.
- Support the team in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have:
- A strong background in construction cost estimating.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry-standard estimating software and tools.
- A proactive mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
