Aramark Sports + Entertainment is looking to hire a hospitality attendant to support the food and beverage operations at the Scotia Centre - home to Halifax Mooseheads. We’re looking for a “hospitality attendant” because “Being Awesome” isn’t a job title we can use.

The perfect recipe for a Hospitality Attendant on our team? A bit of sugar and spice, and a pinch of everything nice! Our best hospitality attendant is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, assisting with guest needs, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. You love greeting guests, solving problems, and are great at keeping track of operations. You’ll be responsible for processing transactions, balancing cash, and providing the best-of-the-best in customer service.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs
• Book reservations and coordinate registration
• Operate a register and/or software system to complete cash and credit card transactions
• Answers phone calls and emails and delivers messages as needed
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous guest services experience preferred
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrate organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $16.75.
