Amazon Controls Engineer for Data Centers

Shape the future of automation at AWS as a Controls Engineer located in Calgary, Canada. Focus on maintaining and innovating critical data center systems, including BMS and EPMS. As part of the AWS Controls Team, your role will involve overseeing the scope, deployment, and optimization of control systems essential to data center operations. You'll work closely with engineering teams to ensure all systems meet rigorous standards, conduct training, and manage contracts effectively. Additionally, you'll provide essential technical assistance and manage service contracts while developing control programming and interfaces. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead BMS and EPMS management for data centers
• Provide feedback on MEP engineering documentation
• Develop project-specific controls BOM
• Schedule maintenance and supervise quarterly reviews
• Implement modifications to control logic as necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum of 5 years in project management settings
• Familiarity with electrical systems and construction specs
• Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems
• Knowledge of safety codes relevant to data centers
