Environmental Public Health Officer Ontario Roles

We are seeking an Environmental Public Health Officer (EG-06) to work collaboratively across various Ontario locations including Brantford and Toronto. Ideal candidates will have expertise in public health, environmental inspections, and community engagement. This role demands a degree in Health Sciences or equivalent experience, complemented by a Public Health Inspection certificate.

Key Responsibilities: • Conduct environmental public health inspections and investigations • Monitor water quality and wastewater for health risks • Provide education and guidance to First Nations' leadership • Engage in committee leadership and community-focused activities • Brief management and deliver training on public health issues

Requirements: • Degree in Health Sciences or equivalent experience • Public Health Inspection certificate required • Minimum five years of relevant experience • Reliability status security clearance • Flexibility to travel to remote communities
