Team & Role

The Inventory Systems team manages Inventory, Pricing, and Sales platforms to ensure an accurate global view for stores, warehouses, and financial systems. This role involves designing and implementing software solutions across the entire development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical solutions for features and systems within established architectural frameworks, including component design, API contracts, and data models.
• Write high‑quality, scalable code across the full technology stack following software engineering best practices.
• Lead technical design discussions, present proposals, and facilitate team alignment on implementation approaches.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to standards, identifying security vulnerabilities, and providing constructive mentorship.
• Implement comprehensive automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders on technical feasibility, scope definition, and project decisions.
• Provide on‑call support and be available outside standard business hours as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• 4‑8 years of software development experience designing scalable systems and leading technical implementation.
• Proven experience designing and implementing high‑quality, well‑tested code and leading code reviews.
• Ability to decompose complex problems into implementable solutions and analyze how technical decisions propagate across distributed systems.
• Experience designing and implementing complex integrations with reliable inter‑system communication.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining Java microservices for scalable, modular backend architectures.
• Experience with containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, microservice architecture, and cloud‑native solutions.
• Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual base pay range: $112,200 – $147,200 (dependent on location and experience).
