Embedded Software Engineer at Humanoid

Join Humanoid as an Embedded Software Engineer and help design the software that powers humanoid robots. This role focuses on ensuring safety and reliability in real-time embedded systems development.
The position based in Vancouver offers the chance to work on cutting-edge technology in robotics. You will utilize your expertise in embedded programming, distributed systems, and hardware-software integration to support our innovative humanoid platform. Collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers to prototype and deploy robust software solutions for real-world robotics applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement robust embedded software for robotics
• Optimize hardware and software integration across robotic systems
• Analyze implementation paths and recommend trade-offs
• Manage communication protocols for real-time data exchange
• Perform hardware testing and validations of embedded solutions
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development
• Relevant degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python for tooling
• Solid understanding of RTOS and communication networks
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset
