Role:
TheSenior Project Managerreports tothe Director of Projectsand works closely with 7 to 10 team members that include Business Analyst, Architect, Configurator and QA. The incumbent willidentify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions in order to optimize the business processes and workflow;
thereby participating in the achievement of the company’s goals and the satisfaction of our clients.Below, is a brief description of the expected product the candidate will be working on(if product division position)Equisoft /Manage is a cloud SaaS Policy Administration System designed to offer a comprehensive suite of features that streamline insurance operations, providing a seamless experience for both insurance providers and their clients. Our platform allows insurance providers to reduce hosting and support costs, stellar speed-to-market, leverage state-of-the-art integration while stay secure & compliant. Our platform also provides advanced analytics and reporting tools that provide insights into customer behavior, allowing insurance providers to tailor their services to their clients’ needs.Your Day withEquisoft:
Identify, plan and manage the development and implementation stages of assigned projectsEvaluate the tasks to be completed and identify resource requirements (human, financial and material)Monitor project progress, timelines, budgets, as well as deliverables quality standardsAssist the customers during the project definition period;
then collect and summarize the informationParticipate, as required, in the preparation of the preliminary analysis;
and coordinate all activities required for project approvalPlan, monitor and control the scope, the risks, the costs, the change requests, the outstanding issues, the human resources and the communications for all assigned projectsLead and coordinate the work of the project teams and assist the staff in completing the tasksPromote interaction and cooperation between the customers (internal / external) and the project teamsMaintain management indicators records on the projects progress and control the change requests related to these projectsRequirements:
Technical
Bachelor’s Degree inComputerEngineering orInformation Technologyor College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience
10-15 years of experience of IT or finance project management
PMP and/or Scrum Master certification or equivalent
Experience in Project Development Cycle Management
Experience in client-facing project, not just internal initiatives
Experience in implementation project of CRM and/or ERP
Very good knowledge of Web Technologies/Environment
Knowledge of the Agile methodology
Available for occasional travel
Experience in the Financial Services or Insurance industries (asset)
Excellent verbal and written skills in both French and English

Strong senseof organization and prioritizing
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information
Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
