- Ensure overall safety of staff, patients, and volunteers
- Apply sound judgement in emergency and life safety situations
- Learn hospital policies and crime prevention strategies
- Prepare detailed reports with effective communication
- Utilize basic investigative techniques during incidents
- Two-year diploma in Police Foundations or Security Management
- Three years in security, police, or military discipline
- CPR and Basic First Aid certifications
- Ontario Security Guard License required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
