Job Title: Senior Workplace Spatial Design Specialist
Location: Calgary, AB
Duration: 1 Year Contract (Hybrid)
Are you ready to champion the spatial evolution of a premier financial institution's retail and corporate footprint? As a consultative partner within our elite real estate and facilities division, you will transform conceptual business objectives into immersive, high-visibility corporate environments. By driving technical execution for high-impact branch refresh initiatives, your strategic spatial designs will directly shape the future of modern workplace optimization and client experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Translate high-level user requirements into precise construction and spatial documentation to optimize the functionality, sustainability, and visual consistency of retail environments.
• Apply established architectural brand standards and rigorous cost-control specifications to ensure corporate spaces are executed cost-effectively while maintaining design integrity.
• Execute regular technical site audits and quality assurance inspections to ensure total project compliance with municipal building codes, safety regulations, and operational security mandates.
• Integrate human-centric design methodologies, universal accessibility principles, and critical security requirements into technical layouts to deliver inclusive, low-risk corporate properties.
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in high-end workplace design, commercial space planning, or retail interior architecture.
• Advanced technical mastery of AutoCAD, Revit, and related building design software to produce comprehensive engineering packages and technical specifications.
• Proven track record of translating abstract brand strategies into detailed spatial layouts that optimize user navigation, line-of-sight security, and acoustic privacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field, combined with exceptional stakeholder communication and consultative problem-solving skills.
