Position # : V38722 Expected Start Date: June 16, 2025 Union: CUPE Facility: Multi-Site position; Home base is Pasqua Hospital City/Town: Regina Department: Operating Room Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band 17 $38.860 to $41.640 (3 step range) Travel Required: No : Sources and orders equipment/instruments to meet the requirements of the Operating Rooms. Ensures appropriate equipment is available as per daily Operating Room slates. Provides nursing care during the pre-operative, operative and post-operative periods. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience

• Thirty (30) months experience working as an Operating Room Technician/LPN

Education

• Perioperative Nursing/Licensed Practical Nurse advanced certificate
• Practical Nursing diploma

Licenses

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Perioperative Care Specialty endorsment

Other Information

• This is a multi-site position; Home Base is Pasqua Hospital
• This position will collaborate with the existing ERT to ensure that all equipment is available and in working order for procedures.
• The incumbent will liaise with MDRD to ensure all instrument sets are in working order and any missing items are replaced.
• The incumbent will be a key resource in troubleshooting equipment and instrument problems, ensuring that surgeons have what they need in the OR to perform the procedures.
• This position also requires being able to work in the OR theatres on occasion as well.
