PS Sidhu Trucking is a Whitehorse, Yukon based company specializing in Heavy Civil Construction, with a large fleet of equipment and experienced professional crews.
Job Summary: Superintendent for Municipal Surface Works and Road Construction in Whitehorse, Yukon. The successful candidate will have experience running crews and operating equipment on Municipal/Subdivision Projects. Superintendent is responsible for organizing crews, scheduling work activities, maintaining the project schedule, tracking of onsite works, traffic control oversight, and quality control of infrastructure installation. Coordination with owners, members of the public, PST project managers will be required on a regular basis.
Experience and requirements:
- Minimum 2 Years of supervisor experience in Grading, Concrete and Asphalt.
- Experience working in Whitehorse, and experience with concrete forming and pouring is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Organizational ability to schedule work and manpower to achieve critical milestones
