Senior AML Financial Crime Investigator
The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada)
Investigate complex AML and financial crime matters at TD in Toronto, applying evidence analysis and sanctions expertise. This role is onsite four days weekly.
As a Senior Financial Crime Risk Investigator, you will conduct end-to-end investigations involving AML, Sanctions/ABAC, and financial crime. You will collect, preserve, and analyze evidence while assessing money laundering and terrorist financing concerns. The work includes applying the reasonable grounds to suspect threshold and recommending mitigation actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex AML, sanctions, and financial crime investigations
- Analyze internal, external, and digital investigative evidence
- Assess cases and prioritize investigative activities
- Recommend customer demarketing or account restrictions
- Identify procedural weaknesses and emerging financial crime trends
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Five or more years of experience
- Strong knowledge of criminal investigative techniques
- Knowledge of evidence collection laws and court proceedings
- Working knowledge of bank products, systems, policies, and procedures
