Processing Plant and Warehouse Worker

Job Responsibility:
Due to retirement, we are looking to hire a person for the set-up and operation of equipment used in processing and packaging of agricultural seed and warehouse help. Work environment is both indoors and outdoors. Indoor environment is dusty and noisy, safety equipment to be worn. Will be using seed treatments. Very physical job.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs
- An ability and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, bending, lifting, climbing stairs, shoveling etc.
- Willing to work outdoors and in a noisy and dusty environment
- Class G license (minimum)
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends depending on seasonal demand (Rare)
- Reliable
Education and Experience:
Below items an asset but not necessary
- Farm equipment and agriculture experience an asset
- WHMIS training an asset
- Forklift experience an asset
