Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Analyst Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in business requirements analysis, process transformation, stakeholder elicitation, and complex business problem-solving. The SME will provide leadership in defining business needs, evaluating existing processes, establishing future-state operating models, and ensuring that proposed solutions align with organizational strategy. The role requires advanced facilitation, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, along with the ability to guide business analysis activities across complex initiatives involving multiple business units and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across complex projects, including requirements elicitation, analysis, validation, and management.

• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to identify business needs, expectations, constraints, and priorities.

• Facilitate executive-level discussions, stakeholder workshops, structured interviews, and cross-functional requirements sessions.

• Analyze complex business processes, organizational workflows, policies, and operational procedures to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities.

• Lead current-state and future-state assessments and develop recommendations for business process optimization and transformation.

• Establish clear business objectives, scope definitions, requirements baselines, and acceptance criteria.

• Translate strategic business objectives into detailed, actionable business and functional requirements.

• Conduct comprehensive gap analysis, root-cause analysis, business impact assessments, dependency analysis, and risk assessments.

• Resolve conflicting requirements and facilitate consensus among stakeholders with differing priorities.

• Develop and review business requirements documents, process models, operating procedures, business cases, and decision documentation.

• Establish requirements governance, traceability practices, validation procedures, and change control processes.

• Assess proposed solutions against business needs, operational constraints, compliance obligations, and organizational objectives.

• Provide subject matter guidance to project managers, business analysts, solution teams, and senior stakeholders.

• Support business case development, options analysis, feasibility assessments, and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

• Oversee requirements quality reviews and ensure that business needs are accurately reflected in solution design and delivery.

• Guide user acceptance testing, business validation, transition planning, and business readiness activities.

• Mentor business analysts, establish best practices, and improve the consistency and quality of business analysis deliverables.

• Communicate findings, recommendations, risks, and decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 9+ years of professional experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, business process improvement, or business transformation.

• Extensive expertise in stakeholder elicitation, requirements analysis, and complex process assessment.

• Proven ability to lead requirements discovery and validation across multiple business functions.

• Advanced experience in current-state and future-state process modelling, gap analysis, and business impact assessment.

• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into clear business requirements and actionable recommendations.

• Expertise in stakeholder facilitation, conflict resolution, requirements prioritization, and consensus building.

• Strong knowledge of requirements governance, traceability, change control, and quality assurance for business analysis deliverables.

• Experience evaluating business processes, identifying root causes, and recommending sustainable improvements.

• Ability to assess business risks, dependencies, operational impacts, and implementation readiness.

• Excellent leadership, critical thinking, communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

• Proven ability to mentor analysts and guide cross-functional teams through complex business initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale business transformation, organizational change, or process optimization initiatives.

• Experience engaging senior executives and diverse stakeholder groups.
