Shop Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency and safety
• Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and improve overall performance
• Manage production schedules and resources to meet deadlines
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety protocols
• Review and interpret manufacturing drawings to provide guidance to the team
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve when challenges arise in production
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that promotes growth and development
• Ability to manage new product launches from initial design through to successful production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Apply project management skills to coordinate multiple projects, resources, and timelines
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new technologies and processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience in a similar industry
• Proven experience in leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Red Seal Welder certification is required
• Expertise in welding stainless steel products with high precision
• Manufacturing Technologist background with relevant engineering experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
