Responsibilities for High Profile Event Security Guard:
- Provide a professional and welcoming security presence at exclusive events and private functions
- Control access by verifying credentials and authorizing entry into secure areas
- Welcome guests while delivering exceptional customer service
- Monitor attendees and event activity to identify potential safety or security concerns
- Assist with VIP arrivals and departures while maintaining a discreet and professional presence
- Maintain orderly crowd movement and support event operations
- Conduct patrols of assigned areas and monitor restricted spaces
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or disruptive behaviour
- Complete accurate reports and communicate observations to supervisors
- Work closely with event organizers, venue staff, and emergency responders when required
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all assignments and guests
Qualifications for High Profile Event Security Guard:
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Minimum 10 years of residency in Canada
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance
- Basic First Aid certification or higher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong professionalism and customer service abilities
- Ability to remain calm, confident, and composed in fast-paced environments
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
