TITLE: Lodge Attendant

STATUS: FTE – 0.70 Permanent

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lodge Attendant is responsible to his/her supervisor to ensure a high standard of housekeeping and/or

dietary services in the assigned facility.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Background experience with housekeeping duties
• Background experience with kitchen / dining room duties
• Familiarity with the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals preferred
• WHMIS training, Food Safety course (if applicable) an asset
• Willingness to learn

REQUIREMENTS

• Ensures completion of housekeeping, kitchen or laundry (lodge or personal) duties.
• Report maintenance issues and/or concerns to Supervisor / Lodge Manager
• Health & Safety concerns are reported to the Supervisor / Lodge Manager
• Assist with scheduling in the absence of the Supervisor / Lodge Manager
• Resident needs are reported to the Supervisor / Lodge Manager
• Assist with handling food and food preparations
• Other duties as assigned

SHIFT INFORMATION

Mandatory Group RRSP for all benefit eligible employees.

Hours per shift: 8 hrs

Shift pattern: Nights

Shifts per Cycle

Commencement Date: When a suitable candidate is found.
