Electrical Engineer for Rail Systems

Join Alstom in St-Bruno, QC as a Train Electrical Engineer, focusing on electromechanical design and lifecycle management. Contribute to high-speed transport solutions by ensuring robust electrical system management and compliance. In the position of Train Electrical Engineer at Alstom, you will be integral to the design and management of electrical harnesses and components. This role requires strong hands-on experience with electrical CAD tools and prior management experience in railway systems. You will interface with various teams to ensure that designs meet both industry standards and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities:
• Create 3D mock-ups for harness routing and locker designs
• Develop detailed bills of materials for manufacturing
• Conduct carry-over analysis of electrical products
• Lead planning engagements with manufacturing teams
• Manage design reviews and interfaces with engineering teams Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in railway electrical engineering
• Proficient in electrical CAD (See One / CATIA EHI)
• Bilingual in French and English
• Strong management background in train systems
• Knowledge of a third language is a plus Utilize your expertise in electrical engineering and CAD tools to enhance Alstom's rail systems in St-Bruno.
