This 100% regular role spans a 10-month work year, focused on supporting Junior and Senior Kindergarten students within full-day Early Learning Programs. The Early Childhood Educator collaborates directly with classroom teachers and leads enriching extended programs. Utilize your creativity and commitment to educational excellence while nurturing student well-being and development. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality play-based education for young learners
- Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers
- Lead before and after-school programs at designated schools
- Foster emotional, cognitive, and social development
- Create a supportive learning environment for all children
- Two-year Early Childhood Education diploma or equivalent
- Registered with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators
- Minimum one year of child care experience
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector
