Enhance client quality of life as a Foot Care Nurse with Somerset West Community Health Centre. Use your nursing skills in an interdisciplinary team providing essential lower limb care in a community-centered environment. This part-time position requires a passionate Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with two to three years of foot care nursing experience. You will work closely with Chiropodists and other healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based interventions. Proficiency in EMR, particularly Practice Solutions Suite, and knowledge of infection prevention are essential to ensure effective patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nail and skin care for clients
- Educate clients on foot care prevention
- Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate in an interdisciplinary team environment
- Document and track client progress using EMR
- Current RPN license from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Proof of foot care certification
- CPR training preferred
- Fluency in English required
- Two to three years' foot care experience
