Freight Forwarding Logistician Locher Evers International Location Delta, BC Salary 25.00 hourly / 37.5 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 1 year to less than 2 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities: Compile orders and instructions received from customers Organize to accomplish the work Oversee operational logistics of the organization Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization Track and complete work orders Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments Prepare and submit reports Arrange for maintenance and repair work Maintain work records and logs Organize warehouse and work areas Perform general office duties Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units Compile worksheets and specifications of orders Monitor production progress Prepare and maintain progress and other reports Provide customer service Conduct performance reviews Co-ordinate, assign and review work Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations Follow-up on issues with work orders Keep track of shipments Organize and maintain inventory Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA) Certificate Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge Monitoring and tracking software Electronic mail Inventory control software MS Office Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Personal suitability Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Team player Accurate Advertised until 2026-02-04
