Investment Portfolio Analytics Manager

Lead investment portfolio analytics in Toronto with SQL, Python, BigQuery, and Power BI or Tableau. Turn investor data into measurable growth insights.

Scotiabank seeks a Manager, Analytics and BI supporting the Investment portfolio within Deposits and Investments. You will analyze client, account, holding, transaction, maturity, campaign, market, and financial data. Your work will guide asset growth, retention, reinvestment, and deeper client relationships. Partner across Product, Finance, Marketing, Advice and Distribution, Digital, Risk, Operations, and data teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead analytics across GIC, mutual fund, managed, and term products
• Maintain scorecards covering assets, sales, maturities, revenue, and retention
• Analyze investor lifecycle behaviour, switching, withdrawals, and attrition
• Develop early-warning views for maturities, redemptions, and asset leakage
• Deliver executive reporting, deep dives, and actionable recommendations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related quantitative, business, or finance field
• Four or more years in analytics, finance, or related disciplines
• Proficiency with GCP, BigQuery, SQL, Python, SAS or R
• Experience using Power BI or Tableau and Excel
• Location at 44 King St W, Toronto
