Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with DeltaV expertise to support commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities in a biopharma manufacturing environment. This role requires strong hands‑on experience in DeltaV DCS, troubleshooting in live GMP environments, and automation support during execution phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an on‑site DeltaV Automation Engineer supporting C&Q execution
- Troubleshoot, configure, and support DeltaV control systems, logic, and phases
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Support test execution, issue investigation, remediation, and retesting
- Collaborate with client and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment with functional specifications
- Identify automation issues and implement solutions under change control
- Ensure compliance with GMP, validation, and site procedures
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Automation Engineering experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with DeltaV DCS in pharma/biopharma manufacturing
- Proven experience in C&Q (Commissioning & Qualification)
- Strong troubleshooting skills in live manufacturing environments
- Solid understanding of:
- GMP, GAMP, ISA‑88
- Validation and regulatory requirements
Additional Notes
- No QA Selenium testers or pure CSV authorship roles
- CSV activities are supported indirectly through automation execution and issue resolution
