Senior Privacy Consultant in Canada

Advance as a Senior Privacy Consultant with a leading Insurance organization while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid or remote work from anywhere in Canada. Your expertise will support the critical growth of privacy practices. Akkodis is collaborating with a prominent client to secure an experienced Privacy Specialist. This role emphasizes a hands-on approach, managing privacy incidents and coordinating essential Privacy Impact Assessments. Work closely with Privacy, Compliance, and Legal teams to drive regulatory readiness initiatives and enhance the overall privacy program. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee privacy incident investigations and resolutions
- Coordinate and administer Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)
- Provide consultation and support to business functions
- Support compliance obligations and regulatory filings
- Develop privacy metrics and maintain records
- Extensive experience with privacy and data protection
- Strong grasp of privacy legislation and compliance
- Advanced writing and documentation skills
- Proven ability in managing privacy operations independently
- Familiarity with privacy management tools and reporting
