We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Rural Project Manager to join our growing Rural Construction Division. The role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of municipal and rural infrastructure projects throughout Alberta. Key Responsibilities

Manage multiple rural infrastructure projects from award through completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts. Coordinate resources, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to support project execution. Monitor project costs, productivity, and profitability. Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Manage change orders, RFIs, and project correspondence. Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen to ensure project objectives are achieved. Build and maintain positive relationships with municipalities, counties, engineers, consultants, and clients. Attend project meetings and provide regular progress updates. Ensure compliance with company safety policies, environmental requirements, and quality standards. Assist with project planning, procurement, and closeout activities. Support estimating and pre‑construction planning when required. Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction, underground utilities, municipal infrastructure, or rural development projects. Strong understanding of construction contracts, specifications, and project management principles. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and cost controls. Knowledge of water and sewer infrastructure construction practices. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Valid Class5 Driver’s License. Preferred Experience

Rural water and sewer infrastructure. Lagoon construction and rehabilitation projects. Municipal road and drainage projects. Rural subdivisions and acreage developments. Public tender and municipal contracting processes. Heavy civil earthworks and site development. Benefits
