We are seeking a Bench-Jeweler to join our team, where you will play a vital role in the creation and repair of high-quality jewelry. The ideal candidate will have a background in stone setting, soldering, and basic jewelry repair. With proficiency in using both hand and power tools such as a laser welder, stone setting equipment, polishing and buffing equipment etc. You will be responsible for ensuring that each piece meets our standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Duties

• Perform repairs on damaged or worn jewelry, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to shape, cut, and finish materials.
• Maintain an organized workspace in the warehouse environment, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet company specifications.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and craftsmanship.

Skills

• Proficiency in assembling and fabricating jewelry pieces with attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• A passion for jewelry design and craftsmanship is essential for success in this role.

Our preference is that you have prior work experience in this field and are able to keep up with basic repairs and maintenance, stone setting, and basic jewelry/stone knowledge.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
