Position Summary

Abbotsford Regional Hospital is seeking two neurologists to join our dynamic and enthusiastic team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and growth of inpatient stroke services.
• Share call for emergency acute stroke care.
• Provide general neurological inpatient consultations.
• Contribute to the hospital‑based Rapid Access outpatient neurology clinics.
• Option to build a private office practice.

Compensation

Fee‑for‑Service with standard stipend for on‑call duties. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications, Education, and Skills

• Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License (Full or Provisional).
• Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
• Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC).
• Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) – Eligible.
• Familiarity with neurological practice in a regional hospital setting preferred.

Role and Facility Information

Join our team at Abbotsford Regional Hospital, a 400+ bed facility affiliated with an attached Cancer Centre, offering comprehensive regional care including 2 CT, 1 MRI, outpatient Rapid‑Access TIA, and general neurology clinics. We also provide full‑time EEG and EMG labs within a supportive team environment.
