Aide, Health Care Saint Francis Manor by the Sea Location 1128 Dallas Rd Victoria, BC Salary 28.00 hourly / 40 hours per week Full time To be determined Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience 3 years to less than 5 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Supply and empty bed pans Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse Serve meal trays and feed patients Make beds and maintain patients' rooms Supervise patients' exercise routines Maintain inventory of supplies Bathe, dress and groom patients Answer call signals to determine patients' needs Administer first aid in emergency situations Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses First Aid Certificate CPR Certificate Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Repetitive Manual dexterity Attention to detail Ability to distinguish between colours Sound discrimination Standing for extended periods Combination of sitting, standing, walking Bending, crouching, kneeling Walking Weight handling Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Personal suitability Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Initiative Interpersonal awareness Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Until: 2026-08-06
